What if something in the home doesn't work or is broken? Just call us and let us know. While equipment function can not be 100% guaranteed, repairs to malfunctioning equipment will be done as soon as possible. We will attempt to fix problems in a timely manner, within our means.

What is asked of the renter upon departure? Please return the key to the lockbox or mail key to us at address provided. No cleaning is required of the renter; however, if the renter starts at least one load of towels and starts the dishwasher, it is very much appreciated. Please make sure for the safety of all the Hot Tub is locked and jets off.

• The house should be left in a condition similar to the way you found it.
• Empty all trash into outdoor trash cans. Help us keep the animals out of the garbage by tightly securing the lids on the garbage cans.
• Check closets, drawers and under beds for personal items.
• Be sure fires are dead-out in the fireplace
• Turn heat down to 55 in the winter and off in the summer.
• Close and lock all windows and doors.

• Reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to arrival for refund.  
• Reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival will forfeit deposit.
• There will be no refunds due to acts of God, nature, weather or weather-related situations, mechanical failure, ski or golf conditions, power failures or family feuds.

Check-in/out? Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is 10 AM.  Confirmation of check-in and out times will be confirmed when key information is delivered.

Phone? Our home has a phone for your convenience. Any long distance phone calls must be made collect or with a calling card or credit card.

Lost or Stolen Items?We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.  If something is found we will do our best to return item to owner.

Pets? Sorry,  no pets are allowed in our home.

Smoking Policy? Smoking is not allowed inside home.  People in your group who wish to smoke, may do so outside only.

Is there medical attention? Yes. High Desert Medical Center is located in Sunriver at 541-593-5400. The nearest pharmacy is Wal-Mart or Fred Meyer both are located in Bend (about 15 miles north on the South end of Bend)

What is Sunriver and what is there to do? Sunriver is a 3,340-acre resort and residential/recreation oriented community located 15 miles south of Bend in Central Oregon. Over 1800 people make Sunriver their full-time home and dozens of other families spend up to several months a year in the Central Oregon sunshine. Everyone can find something to do here. Recreation facilities include two 18-hole golf courses, 29 tennis courts, 33 miles of paved bike paths, two swimming pools, stables, an ice rink/mini-golf course, marina, Nature Center, white water rafting, canoes, and Nordic and Alpine skiing nearby. 

What about bike riding? Our home includes four adult bikes and 3 childrens bikes, a bike trailer, and childs seat, but there are also rental shops in Sunriver. Bike paths are patrolled and tickets are issued when the displayed signs are disobeyed. All children under the age of 16 are required, by Oregon State Law, to wear helmets (you must provide your own helmet). There are many other Sunriver activities available, as well. Motor vehicles and in-line skates (roller blades) are not permitted on the bike paths.

Rental Policies 

• We do not allow camping in tents, on decks or patios or in RVs or campers on the property.
• The primary registered guest on the reservation must be 21 years of age and must be staying at the vacation rental for the entire visit. The primary registered guest will be held responsible for any expenses incurred during the visit.  
• The renter agrees to use the property in a fashion for which it is reasonably intended.  The renter will not act in a manner which will infringe upon other guests or neighbors rights, enjoyment or use of property or adjacent property.

Policies & Guidelines During Your Visit

• Read notices posted in the home for specific information and instructions regarding the house.
• When using the fireplace, be sure the damper is open and flames stay contained. Be sure the fire is dead-out when you leave. Wood can be purchased at many local stores.
• Please be sure to put all garbage in the outside garbage cans the night before garbage pick up (Wednesday evening). Please be sure garbage can lids are on tight (to keep animals out).  Be sure not to leave any good or garbage outside.
• Do not move furniture or otherwise remodel the home.
• Make sure you clean the BBQ and turn off the propane after each use.
• Children under the age of 12 must be supervised when using the hot tub at all times.
